Asia Cup 2018 Final India vs Bangladesh .

Still unbeaten in the tournament, India are all set to face Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2018 Final today at the Dubai International Stadium. India, who secured qualification to the final with two back-to-back wins against Bangladesh and Pakistan, have had a few extra days to rest as they await their opponents for the last fixture of the series. Meanwhile, Bangladesh beat Pakistan in the last Super Fours match on Wednesday to book their place in the final. The Tigers have been exceptionally impressive in the tournament and could make for a very enticing encounter. Let’s take a look at how the two teams line up before we make our full Asia Cup 2018 final match predictions.

India vs Bangladesh match preview

This is the second time that these two teams are meeting in Asia Cup 2018. After qualifying from their respective groups, India faced Bangladesh in the first match of the Super Fours with the Men in Blue comfortably beating the Tigers by seven wickets. Ravindra Jadeja, who made his comeback to international ODI cricket, was the man of the match with four wickets as Bangladesh were bowled out for just 173 runs. India have a much better record against their neighbours in ODI cricket. Having played 34 matches, India have won 28 and lost just four of them.
Bangladesh narrowly missed out on Asia Cup glory against Pakistan in 2012 but have improved manifolds since then to enter the competition in 2018 as serious contenders for the title. India, on the other hand, are favourites for the Asia Cup title and have been performing exactly like how they were expected to.

Both India and Bangladesh have been undoubtedly the two best teams in the tournament so far. While India have been comfortably thwarting their opponents since the first match, they were stretched in a dead rubber match against Afghanistan which dramatically ended in a tie. Bangladesh, on the other hand, were exceptional in their opener against Sri Lanka but hit a slump as they lost back-to-back matches against Afghanistan and India, only to find some much-needed form to win their last two games to qualify for the final.

But India has been nothing but brilliant in the tournament and looks like it is their match to lose today. Our money is on India to win it although we expect the Tigers to put up a fight.
